Forza 1 & 2 have higher average scores than the Gran Turismos released around the same time frame, so ps3 fans move the goalposts and start talking about sales, ignoring their hypocrisy of having downplayed sales all these years when it comes to games like Halo and Gears of War.

Which is it PS3 fans? First we had swarms of PS3 fans up in arms in the other article saying how you can't have a poll asking people which game they think is better until the games are out, and now that the poll swung in your favor you guys are only two happy to accept the results of the poll as legitimate and crown GT the best driving sim. Yes, that is why Gears 2 looks better than 99% of the games on the ps3 and the only games on ps3 that look as good are Killzone 2 and Uncharted...quite hating on Unreal engine...it is actually a very powerful and flexible engine...and that is why so many developers use it. Gears 2 looks a lot better than this game no matter how you look at it.
Eye toy is nothing like Natal since it can only detect movements in 2 dimensions. Natal is 3d motion sensing technology...comparing the two is like comparing 2d sidescrolling graphics to 3d graphics...no comparison.
Natal is cool...it is going to just expand the possibilities on 360.

What nonsense! The ps3 doesn't have any better selection of games. The 360 has over 600 games and the ps3 has over 350 games...and when you look at upcoming games the 360 has just as much diversity as the ps3. Where are my JRPGs on the ps3? ok...there's Valkyrie Chronicles and maybe one or two others but the 360 has much more. Lost Odyssey is one of my favorite games and only on the 360.

Have you even played both games? Killswitch is nothing like Gears of War. The fact that they both use a 3rd person cover system is basically where the similarity ends.
Quantum on the other hand copies dozens of elements from Gears and looks generic as hell in my opinion. I don't expect it to get very good reviews and certainly won't be even in the same realm as Gears of War.
Sure Thoreau, whatever you say. Forza is a better series in my opinion and if you knew anything about the racing game genre you would know that there are a whole bunch of people like me who think Forza is better. Forza 3 is going to top everything. GT was a good series back in the day on PS2 but it isn't impressing me anymore.
It's always about evolution of an idea. Gears didn't feel anything like killswitch, despite both using a 3rd person cover mechanic. But Gears' cover system gameplay feels very different from Killswitch and in almost every other way Gears was a very different kind of game. Quantum on the other hand looks very, very close to Gears of War, from the character designs, the gameplay, the cover system, the four man squad, the icons used on screen, etc.
It is obviously a Gears of War clone in so many ways and I don't think anybody can deny that. It might still be a decent game but don't pretend that it isn't a Gears of War clone.
You got to be kidding me right? Prototype looks better, runs better and is more fun to play. I am not saying Infamous is a bad game but I don't know how anybody could think Infamous is the better game.
And the ps3 legions are only calling this game bad because they want their precious infamous to look better...when in fact prototype craps all over infamous. Prototype has better movement and gameplay, more variety, more destruction without slowdown, and looks and runs better, with not nearly as many jaggies and pop in as infamous. Infamous is good but Prototype is better.
I've played both and Prototype craps all over Infamous. The amount of chaos and destruction going on at one time in Prototype make Inafamous look like childs play, the movement through the world is faster and more fluid and there isn't the problem with so much pop in like in Infamous and the game runs smoother and looks better. I'm sorry...Infamous is a good game, but Prototype is better for my tastes.
Yes, you are right. Forza 3 is not an overhyped and long delayed PS3 racing game. It's a bad@ss racing sim that people will be enjoying in only a few short months.
Just because other developers are doing it doesn't mean it is easy. For Valve, who have a good relationship with Microsoft, it just isn't worth all the hair pulling to try to get your game to work on the PS3, only to have ps3 fanboys call you "lazy" because the ps3 version doesn't look as good as the 360 version.
If you buy a Microsoft published game you are buying their game, regardless of what you play it on. Console manufacturers make most of their money off game sales and they certainly don't care which platform you buy it for.
Halo Wars is also a big exclusive. It received pretty much the same scores as Infamous and sold better than Killzone 2 (and probably more than Infamous).
